Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the information you send through this website. It is written in plain language and kept deliberately short.
What is collected
When you use the enquiry form, Garden Me Up collects your name and email address, your suburb or postcode, and your answers to the questions about the project — the type of work, who is asking, what stage it is at, when you would like it done, a rough budget range if you choose to give one, and how you heard about Sam — along with whatever you write in the message field. Only your name, email, suburb, project type and message are required; the rest are optional. Nothing else is collected about you through the form.
The form does not accept file uploads. If photographs or plans would help, Sam will email you and ask you to share them by a secure file link.
Why it is collected
So that Sam Bacales can read your enquiry, work out whether Garden Me Up is a good fit for your project, and reply to you. That is the only purpose.
Where it goes
Enquiries are delivered by the website's form service to Sam's business email inbox, which is hosted with Google Workspace. Website hosting and form handling are provided by Netlify. Both providers store data on servers that may be located outside Australia.
Your details are not sold, rented or shared with anyone else, and are not added to any marketing list.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful for the project or for ordinary business records, and are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Website measurement
This website uses Google Analytics to measure how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly which part of the world they are in. Google sets a cookie in your browser to do this. The measurement is anonymous, it is not used for advertising, and Garden Me Up cannot use it to identify you. If you would rather not be counted, most browsers let you block cookies, and Google publishes an opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Asking a question, or asking for your details to be deleted
Email sam@gardenmeup.com.au and ask. You can request a copy of what has been kept about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted.
